Applesauce

Applesauce counts as soup!

It’s food + water + heat (though I would argue that last one is not always necessary for soup) in a drinkable form.

The new tradition of making homemade applesauce with Hannah’s incredible crank machine is going strong. Apples from the CSA and the market combined to make a beautiful, rosy sauce that was jarred and shared with friends. No need to sterilize for long-term storage — these were gone in a week!
