Shiitake Congee

Plenty o Rice Porridge!

Adam made a lot of okayu recently to nurse us back to health. We are thriving now, so it is congee time! (The difference? Thickness? I dunno. It’s all good rice stuff.)

Being able to eat more than water and bland rice was pretty thrilling. Such a joy to have mushrooms, onions, and chili oil… and a mocha! I am spoiled.

Have you seen the Pot Pot King containers? So cute! He now sits on our table like a little gentleman ready to join our meals.
